Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 9/7/24

Dear Diary,

I kept pretty busy this week with new visitors, helping smooth over a fight, keeping a friend from leaving me, and more! Still, no pictures…

To kick things off, we had a camper at the campsite visiting Xanadu for the day. Sprinkle seemed a little much, but I dug her hair. Unfortunately, there’s no room at the inn, if you know what I mean!

I found a bag that I figured had to belong to either Apple or Patty. I was hoping it was Patty’s so I could show her what a great friend I am (Apple already knows that) and to my delight, it was! Now, it’s still early days, so I just got a fired-up kanji shirt for returning her lost item, but you gotta start somewhere, right?

Now that I confirmed that you can have over a million Nook Miles, I figured I should maybe spend some of them so I went on a tour to a new island with Kapp’n. Unfortunately, it just had a bunch of pumpkins growing all over it. Which I’ll be able to do soon myself since fall is coming. Still, I enjoyed hearing Kapp’n’s ridiculous songs again!

This week, Sherb was the one who was considering moving away. I know he’s been around ages, but he’s one of my OG’s and I just love him so much I can’t say goodbye. Not yet. (And maybe not ever… sorry, Sherb!)

This week was also the start of a new month which meant another letter from Mom with a present. Once again, she was complaining about how it’s either too hot or too cold and she never knows whether to bring a jacket. Same, Mom. Same. Her gift was another Mom’s cushion, this time with a… mouse embroidered on it? Maybe?I mean, it’s not quite a dog or a cat… the ears say mouse to me… but I’m not entirely sure. And there’s no way I’m asking Mom!

At the end of the week we had another camper, this time, Samson. And like his namesake, he was another big musclehead jock. So this time I was glad there’s no room on the island because we’ve already got two jocks and that’s pretty much my limit!

And finally, this week I helped smooth things over between Lopez and Robin after their prank war got a little bit out of hand. His apology gift was a dynamic tank top that was a weird style on Robin but the color worked, so I told her she looked good. She thanked me with a shop uniform shirt. No picture. Because this was technically a favor for Lopez, not Robin. Oh well! Every little bit helps, right?
