Dear Diary,

This week on Xanadu I met someone super awesome and also managed to squeeze in a little work when I wasn’t feeling lazy. And that led to a new opportunity… that I’m not sure I want to actually take advantage of. I’ll explain!

So I found a book on the ground getting soggy in a torrential rainstorm and from the stickers and glitter that hurt my eyes, I knew it had to belong to Apple or Patty. I hoped it was Patty’s so it could help strengthen our friendship, but she looked at it and was aghast that I would ever think it could be hers. She claims it’s not her style but it’s totally her style. Patty is a bit delusional. So I went and tracked down Apple, who was happy to get her autograph book back and gave me a sports cap to say thanks.

I was worried Ace was thinking about moving away because I still haven’t managed to get his picture for some reason, but it turned out he was just thinking up a new nickname for me. I was expecting something sporty, but “Vitamin C” does kind of work for me. I approve!

We had a camper this week, and when I met Eugene I was so upset we don’t have any room for him on the island. For a second I actually considered just asking him to move here and hoping that he wouldn’t try to kick out anyone I would miss too much. But then I checked my cards and realized I have his. So I think I’m going to call him up and ask him to camp a couple more times so that the next time someone moves out, he can move in! He’s so cool!

I had some extra time so I decided to go ahead and do a little work for Paradise Planning. But first I had to do a quick run along the shoreline to check for any bottles. And I found one containing a DIY for a ruined decorated pillar that I didn’t already have. Score!

I went with Prince because he wanted an arena where giant robots and monsters could fight. So… that’s exactly what he got. I threw in a couple of stools so he and a friend can sit down and watch the battles, but there are literally no amenities here. But he didn’t want a house with luxuries… he wanted a battle arena, so that’s exactly what he got!

Afterwards, Lottie told me that Paradise Planning is teaming up with the Happy Home Academy and now I can tour places that other people around the world have created for their own branches of Paradise Planning. While it’s a nice thought, I’m not sure that I want to make myself feel bad by seeing some of the incredible creations of actually dedicated and talented designers…
