Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 9/2/17

Dear Diary,
I made a decision this week that I hope I don’t come to regret. Because our newest resident is kind of a weirdo. On the plus side, I wrote myself a note and finally managed to remember to attend one of the summer fireworks celebrations… just in time to see summer basically come to an end. Oh well! On with the fun!

So yeah. Ribbot told me he wanted to experience new place and faces and whatnot, and on the spur of the moment I actually decided not to tell him to stay and instead wished him well on his adventure. I mean, Ribbot is cool and all, but I feel kind of bad making everyone stay in Geneva when clearly they all want out. Still, there are plenty of my friends who I will never let go willingly!

It was the fourth and final summer fireworks show, so I made extra sure that I didn’t miss this one! I wrote myself a note and almost set an alarm on my phone just to be safe! Thankfully, the note did the trick. And I wen to the town square to get my gift from Isabelle and walk around in my adorable heart bopper all night.

Unfortunately, after a couple of dud prize tickets in my cookies, I finally won something. But my excitement was dulled when Redd said my prize was a love tester. I already have one of those in my basement. Sigh. I could’ve kept going but didn’t want to push my luck.

I had one dud prize ticket but then one lesser ticket that got me this sparkler which I set off next to Isabelle so she could enjoy it, too. I feel bad that she has to just stand there and supervise the whole time. If she turned around and faced the other way, at least then she could enjoy the fireworks…

It was a pretty good show, too. Earlier in the day I had submitted my Domo design to Isabelle so she could have the guys setting off the fireworks include my custom design as part of the display. Don’t know how the do it, but it looks pretty awesome!

Later in the week, I saw that Frita was at home and went in to see what her home looks like. And it was super weird. She has a dessert buffet, what looks like a slushee machine, and a picnic table to sit at. Also, I get that the one shirt on display sort of looks like food, but what’s with the fireman’s jacket? She’s an odd one… I’m gonna have to keep my eye on her…

At the end of the week, Tiffany decided to gift me with this watermelon tank. I wasn’t enthusiastic about it and she told me I could feel free to chuck it in the trash when she wasn’t looking and she wouldn’t take it personally. But then I decided to put it on. It goes with my shorts and shoes and glasses, so I think I’m going to keep it for a bit. I know it’s technically September now, but I’m not ready to say goodbye to summer yet. And this top will keep me in the summer spirit!
