Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 9/17/22

Dear Diary,

It was an exceptionally quiet week on Xanadu, which was kind of a nice change of pace. Much more relaxing than normal. But I still learned some new things and met someone new, too!

I’ve always been chatty and generous with Sasha, so I was surprised when he admitted he was considering moving off the island. Oh heck, no. I specially invited you here. That means that even if you give me your picture, I’m going to still want you to hang around for quite a while. There’s a reason I wanted you here, so get comfortable!

Sasha also taught me a new recipe this week. I honestly thought I already knew how to make seafood ajillo, but apparently not. And the combination of squid, shrimp, and scallops sounds absolutely delicious. Now I’m hungry!

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the ingredients to make seafood ajillo, but I did catch a blue marlin while fishing off the pier looking for… a giant trevally, I want to say? Anyway, when I caught it, I was suddenly struck with an idea and spontaneously came up with the recipe for carpaccio di marlin blu! Sounds fancy, don’t it?

At the end of the week, we had a camper, and I have to say that I kind of took a shine to Hippeux. He’s a little silly, which is fun, but it was mostly the fact that he has that weird toupee and wears the blazer so he just kind of looks like a weatherman. That tickled me! I probably should have asked if he wanted to move in, but I didn’t and now I’m regretting it. Oh well!
