Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 9/14/19
Dear Diary,
I really messed things up. I think I’ve gotten things back on track, but only time will tell. Reminder: DON’T MESS WITH THE TIMESTREAM!
Deli kicked things off by trying to move away, but of course I shut him down because I’m afraid to lose anyone else since no one seems to want to move to Geneva anymore. If I let everyone who wanted to move go, I’d be all alone!
I tried talking to Quillson again but he still seems to have no memory of asking me to bury a time capsule for him. Heck, he even invited me over to his place so we could hang out! I was stuck with that time capsule, and couldn’t seem to get rid of the evidence, but after I took the shirt out of it, I was able to finally dispose of the capsule. So now it’s like it never even happened. Except it did, and I’m the only one who remembers it. Freaky!
While I was looking around Quillson’s place, I opened up his locker, and he got a little perturbed at me going through his stuff without permission. A natural response, which is why it’s weird that it doesn’t happen more often. Anyway, inside was a gold screen wall, which he let me have. I felt bad taking any kind of gift since I’d let him down so badly, but I couldn’t refuse without it seeming suspicious. Thankfully, with my terrible memory, within a few weeks, I’ll have forgotten all about the time capsule brouhaha, too!
Then Monty also tried to escape. Well, they say move, but to me it feels like they’re trying to escape. Of course, I never let them. Especially not right now. This isn’t a good time, Monty!
There were a few campers this week, but it wasn’t until Hamphrey that I was seriously tempted to cancel my experiment to see how long it takes for a new resident to arrive and just invite him to move in. Unfortunately, even though he seemed to consider it, he very quickly decided that he was happy in his own town. Sigh. Why doesn’t anyone want to live in Geneva anymore?
Now that fall has begun, I decided it was time for a new look. As a reward for doing an easy favor, Lopez gave me this big star tee, and I decided it went well enough with my shorts to put it on and wear it now. Although I should change my shorts now that it’s getting cooler out. Long pants, here we come!
I also decided that the white hair wasn’t working anymore so I swung by Shampoodle to get a new style. I always seem to end up with that onion top cut, but at least the brown is a better color for fall. Maybe a mayor with a new look will inspire someone to move to town? Sigh…
