Dear Diary,

It was kind of a busy week on Xanadu! I said goodbye and hello in the space of a few days and also had to help keep the island clean with no help from my sloppy neighbors! Seriously, it’s getting out of hand!

Things kicked off with Kitt telling me she was thinking about moving away. I still don’t have her picture, but after all this time, I don’t know what else I need to do to be a better friend, so I wished her well. Maybe a new face is just what the island needs right now.

Although by the time Penelope camped on Xanadu a couple of days later, the plot of land was already sold. So I couldn’t have invited her to move here, even if I wanted to. (Which I kind of didn’t because she was a little too perky for me!)

I also found a bag that turned out to belong to Apple. I was hoping it might have been Patty’s, but no luck. Since Apple is an OG friend and I got her picture ages ago, she gave me a cycling cap to say thanks.

I swear this was the fasted that a random neighbor moved in after someone moved out. It was literally two days before it was sold and the next day, Celia moved in. Unfortunately, it kind of looks like while the island is getting a new face, it’s not necessarily a new personality. Kitt to Celia seems like an even trade. Oh well!

Then I found another bag laying on the ground and again it looked like it belonged to either Apple or Patty. But this time, it turned out to be Patty who’d lost it, so I was able to finally do her another favor. I was thanked with a café uniform.

Then, literally the next day, I found yet another bag laying in the grass. Why can’t they hang on to their stuff? What is going on around here? This bag was embroidered with “Bikers are cool” so I was kind of surprised to find that it belonged to Deirdre. Sure, she’s a little sassy, but I never expected her to have an edge! Heck, she even gave me a flame tee to say thanks for finding her bag. I knew I liked her!
