Dear Diary,

This was a super quiet week on Xanadu. Not a whole lot happened on the island. Not that I’m complaining — I could totally use a break! That’s not to say that nothing happened, though!

This week, Lopez asked me about Mia. And then the next day, Sherb was asking about Nora. It’s nice that my nieces made an impression on my neighbors. Of course, they’re not likely to visit again until oh, maybe Thanksgiving? Sorry, Turkey Day! I wonder if anyone on their island is asking about me?

I have to confess, I got more than a little excited when Kitt asked if I wanted to play the treasure hunt game. Just because I know that in the past, the prize for digging up the treasure in the time limit has been that neighbor’s picture. Then I got even more excited when I found the treasure right away. Unfortunately, all I got was a conductor’s jacket… Sigh.

I saw Robin deep in thought and was afraid she was thinking about moving away. But it turns out she was just thinking it was time to freshen up her greeting. I suggested “yoo hoo” and she seemed perfectly happy with that. Which is good, because I was kind of drawing a blank that day!

Then finally towards the end of the week I found a book on the ground that was all glittery and I was hoping it might belong to Patty, but it turned out it was actually Apple’s autograph book. So instead of establishing my friendship with a new neighbor, I just solidified my friendship with one of my OG’s a bit more. She gave me a puffy-sleeve blouse, which I later gifted to Robin. It just seemed more her style…
