Dear Diary,

This week was more normal with plenty of stuff going on. It also helped that I decided to get off my backside and do a little work, even if that motivation only lasted one day. Maybe next week?

Things started off with Robin thinking about escaping — I mean, moving away. Of course I once again shut that down because I still don’t have her picture, even though she’s been around ages. Ace is still the worst holdout but she’s still being very selfish. I don’t know what I have to do to prove myself… donate a kidney?

So I went ahead and did a little work for Paradise Planning this week. I keep slacking off and I’m not really making any progress over there so I wanted to get a little more involved. And this time, when designing a vacation house for Spike, I learned how to polish things with different effects. If I’m being honest, the regular sparkle is still the best, but I guess it was kind of funny to make his TV crackle with dangerous electricity and his shower drip water!

Honestly, not my best work, but I wasn’t feeling particularly inspired. He should be grateful I made the bathroom slightly separate. And unfortunately, as you’ll see from the rest of this diary entry, my motivation to get back to work and try and make some actual progress didn’t really last long. Literally just this one day. Sigh. I really am just terribly lazy.

While on the island I found a bottle with a DIY recipe for a glowing-moss boulder so I went ahead and crafted it with some of the glowing moss I had in storage to put with the other rocks in my yard but… I was not expecting it to be this big!

This week was also Lopez’s birthday and as always I forgot and had to scramble to find an appropriate present. I just gave him a hanging plant because I couldn’t think of anything else and thankfully, he seemed to really love it. Phew!

Finally, at the end of the week, I found a book laying on the ground and it was right near Robin’s so I was hoping maybe it was hers and I could do her yet another favor in the hopes of finally cementing our friendship, but nope. Turned out it belonged to Camofrog. Still, better to be someone I’m not already BFFs with, even if it should be quite some time before I get his picture. Given how long it’s taking me to get pictures from Ace, Robin, and Kitt, I figure I should have Camofrog’s in what, a couple of years?
