Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 8/17/24

Dear Diary,

I’m glad all weeks aren’t as lively as last week was. But this week was surprisingly low-key… almost suspiciously so! Now I’m nervous…

So things kicked off with a birthday party for Ace, and I was determined to give him a present that he would love in the hopes of cementing our friendship. I gave the jock an exercise bike and he was absolutely blown away by it. Unfortunately, the next day, he sent me a thank you card but the gift enclosed was just a checkered sweater vest. Sigh. (Also I kind of love that it this photo makes it look like he has his other party guest, Sherb, doing laps around his house during the party.)

Then later in the week, I popped into Robin’s house to find her under the weather and I happily gave her some of the medicine I keep on me for just such an occasion. Unfortunately, once again, this favor didn’t net me a picture. Just a sailor’s tee. Which I gave to Camofrog when I ran into him shortly afterwards. I didn’t try the shirt on myself beforehand so I didn’t realize until he put it on that it was pink, but somehow, it kind of worked on him!
