Thankfully, things have gotten back to normal on Xanadu. Well, at least as normal as things can get on an island full of weirdos!
The week kicked off with a Fishing Tournament, and after getting that silver trophy in the last Bug Off, I decided that I would do the free round and then a bunch more, in the hopes of accumulating enough points to get the silver fishing trophy. Unfortunately, I guess I haven’t done as many fishing tournaments because all I got for my troubles were a tackle bag and a marine pop wall. Both of which I’m pretty sure I already had from previous tournaments. Well, maybe next time I’ll reach the 200 points or whatever is necessary to get that silver trophy!
At the beginning of the week, I found Ace making pretzels and he shared the recipe with me. I had thought I already had this one but apparently not. Unfortunately, all the other DIY recipes everyone was making and I found on the beach all week long turned out to be duplicates. Oh well!
Sasha invited me over to his house and I decided to accept because we’re not BFFs yet and I don’t have his picture. So anything I can do to cement our friendship is worth it. Sometimes I won’t go along when someone invites me over because I just don’t have the time. I know I could just leave, but then I feel like I’m being rude. But at least it’s better than when someone invites themselves over to my house!
I found Genji pacing back and forth on the beach outside of his house and he admitted he was thinking of moving away. As you know, he is one of my neighbors who I will never allow to leave. So he really should just get used to it. Sorry!
I guess it’s the time of year for shooting stars? Because once again, Isabelle told us we’d be having another show in the sky this week during her morning announcements. Unfortunately, while I got a bunch of wishes made, the recipe Celeste gave me was for a windflower wand. Meh.
At the end of the week, we had another camper, and I gotta say, Kabuki is quite the character! I think I would have enjoyed it if he could have moved here. But I’ve got no room right now. Maybe some day in the future I’ll have room and he’ll need a place to live and the stars will align!
