Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 7/13/24
Dear Diary,
This week I did something I haven’t done in ages and I also reached a milestone that I honestly should have reached a lot sooner. But they’re not actually connected! Let me explain…
So for a change I was actually up early enough on Sunday to run into Daisy Mae. I had to admit that 102 bells each was a little high for a starting price, but I went ahead and bought 500 turnips. A couple of days later, they were going for 111, so I just went ahead and sold them. 4,500 bells isn’t much of a profit but at least it’s a profit! The following day the price plunged to 67, so I felt a little better about it. I didn’t check the price after that because I didn’t want to suddenly find out that they were going for 189 or something ridiculous…
I also did a little decorating for Paradise Planning. Soleil wanted “a relaxing summer home” and I was actually very pleased with the result. Having those walls to separate out a little bedroom is a really nice addition to the decorating tool set. And she seemed pleased with my efforts.
After I finished Soleil’s vacation house I went back to the office where Lottie happily informed me that I had just finished decorating my 10th house for Paradise Planning. So we had a little party upstairs to celebrate my milestone. And honestly, I should have hit this a lot sooner but I just don’t work as often as I really should. I enjoy the decorating but only in small doses.
Robin wanted to come by my place and I happily agreed because I had the free time and also I want to cement our friendship. It’s been like, forever, and I still don’t have her picture. Unfortunately, after giving her a tour of my home, all I got was a pair of coveralls with arm covers. Sigh.
I also got a letter from Wardell congratulating me on my 10th client again and rewarding me with a large Paradise Planning rug. I really should do more work there. It’s not particularly difficult, but I’m just kind of lazy…
I also found a book that happened to belong to Kitt, so I was happy to do her a favor. Still no picture, though. Just a baseball uniform to say thanks. Oh well!
Finally, we had a camper on Xanadu and while Kevin was pretty adorable, he’s another jock, and I’ve already got two of those on the island. Any more and there might be a testosterone overload. Sorry, Kevin. Maybe another time!
