Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 6/7/25
Dear Diary,
Finally things calmed down, but this week wasn’t completely boring. I still met someone new, got a present, and gave a present!
Not only is it a new month, but it’s June, so it’s wedding season. Which means Harvey calls to ask me to come to his island to do wedding photo shoots of Reese and Cyrus. I’m like, 99.9% sure I have all of the wedding furniture at this point, so I don’t see the point. Like with the May Day special trip, maybe if the mood strikes me I might go do some photos for them… but then again, like the May Day flight this year, it probably won’t strike.
The week — and month — also kicked off with a camper. I have to say, Papi was kind of cute, and I liked his leg warmers. But we don’t have any room on the island right now so I hope he enjoyed his visit!
A new month also means another gift from Mom. This time she wrote about the fireflies and mosquitoes again, and sent me another Mom’s handmade apron. This one’s cute, with the duck and her little ducklings. I would never tell Mom, but I rarely ever wear an apron when I cook. Still, she does nice work, and I wouldn’t want to get food all over it!
The big event this week was Camofrog’s birthday. As usual, I totally forgot to get him a present in advance. I thought about maybe crafting him something but then I saw a cactus for sale in Nook’s Cranny when I was picking up the wrapping paper. He seemed happy enough with it, though, calling it a “quality product” and saying I have good taste. Though the next day when he sent me a thank you note, I didn’t get his picture. Just a cycling shirt. Sigh…
Finally, at the end of the week, Kitt asked if she could come over so I agreed, since I don’t have her picture yet, either. Of course, when she entered, she just gifted me a camo tee. I showed her around my entire house and we played a game of high card, low card, where I won a fragrance diffuser. Now, as much as I would like to think that maybe tomorrow when I check my mail, she’ll have sent me a thank you note and I might get her picture as well, given what happened with Camofrog (and everyone else on this island), I’m not optimistic. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
