Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 6/17/23

Dear Diary,

Phew! It was another quiet and peaceful week on Xanadu without too much drama. Just a little bit of drama. As usual!

Things kicked off with Apple informing me she was thinking about moving away. I have to admit that there was like, a half a second where I actually considered letting her go. But she’s my OG. I just can’t bring myself to say goodbye. I could say maybe someday, but I’d probably be lying!

I found a book laying in the grass and was cautiously optimistic when it turned out to belong to Coco. However, when I returned it to her, she didn’t reward me with her picture, but with a school chair. Seriously? What am I supposed to do with that? Sigh.

I popped into Lopez’s place during the week to say howdy and was a little taken aback to see Sherb already there hanging out with my boyfriend. I’m going to try not to be jealous and assume it’s just a meeting of the deer club, but then again, Sherb is a goat, not a deer. So maybe I should be jealous? Naw, Sherb’s not Lopez’s type at all! We’re good!

I also decided to help Gulliver out yet again (worst sailor ever? I think so!) and as my reward I got another kaffiyeh. But once again, it’s a color I don’t already have. So thanks, Gulliver!

Then we had a camper at the campsite, so I did my neighborly duty and went to say hello. But I found Peaches totally unsettling. First, it’s the dead eyes. How can you have a conversation with someone like that? Then there’s the fact that it’s like 80 degrees out and she’s drinking hot coffee while wearing a coat and scarf. There’s something not right about Peaches. (I beat a hasty retreat and hoped I didn’t come off as rude!)
