Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 5/6/17

Dear Diary,

This week started off like any other, and then we had an absolutely momentous occasion that honestly took me by surprise. Just wait until you see what happened!

Nana tried moving away and I had to talk her out of it again. I just love the side eye Tiffany is giving her blubbering mess of a neighbor as she passes by!

This “C Money” nickname is really taking off! This week, Agent S decided she wanted to start using it, too!

Still haven’t found a pair of pants or shorts that I like, but I did stumble across a cute pair of pink sneakers to pair with my spring outfit! Of course at this rate, by the time I find bottoms I like it’ll be summer!

On Tuesday, May 2, I wandered out of my home quite late — it was already dark — and found Isabelle waiting for me. I wondered what the big occasion was, and when she told me I was floored!

I can’t believe it’s already been four years since I came to this town! That’s crazy! Boy, how the time flies! Isabelle took me to the Event Plaza where we had a little ceremony to mark the occasion.

There was applause, there were party poppers going off, and I even got a present! I appreciate that my BFF, Lopez, was on hand for the ceremony, as he should be. Wasn’t sure what Reese was doing there, but then I realized that she’s the shop owner that I interact with the most, even more than Blathers, because I’m always selling off stuff at Re-Tail. Now Ribbot? No idea. Maybe he just happened to be wandering by and decided to stop and see what all the fuss was about?

They gave me this lovely sapling clock, which I absolutely love. It’s so pretty. I still can’t believe I’ve been mayor of this town for a whole four years. Just can’t seem to wrap my brain around that one!

And then to top off the whole week, I found a four-leaf clover! But I already feel like the luckiest mayor in all the world!
