Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 5/3/25

4 min readMay 3, 2025

Dear Diary,

Big doings this week on the pleasant isle getaway of Xanadu! I said goodbye to a friend and tried to say hello to another, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out. Grrr…

Things kicked off with some good deed doing when I popped in to say hi to Vesta only to see that she was seriously under the weather. Naturally, I had some medicine on me for just such an occasion and I happily gave her some so she can feel better and get back out and enjoy Xanadu. As thanks, she gave me a cordless phone which was a nice gesture but unnecessary. I’m here to help!

As it was the very end of April, Tom Nook gave me a call about the special May Day tour he does every year at the beginning of May. I feel like I only did it one time after that first time. It’s a nice little maze challenge… maybe if I have time I’ll give it another go this year. But honestly, I’m more likely to completely forget about it until after it’s over!

I found Muffy deep in thought and after offering her a penny for them, she admitted she was considering moving away. I had originally become determined to get everyone’s picture and only let them move after I had it, but it’s becoming clear that no one wants to give me their pictures anymore so I’m going to have to let that go. And while I like Muffy, I decided that I had to let her go. Picture or not.

The following day, we had a visitor at the campsite, and I was floored to discover it was Tiffany! She didn’t seem to remember me but I could never forget her! In my last town, she was one of my permanent residents. With Muffy on her way out, I was excited to invite my favorite hooker bunny to Xanadu.

So I popped into Muffy’s to say a final farewell and thankfully, she was already packed so I didn’t have to help at all. I guess she could have asked me to help clean up but she didn’t so it was back to Tiffany I went!

Unfortunately, all she seemed to want to do was play card games for stuff and I kept losing. Eventually, I left and came back enough times that she finally admitted she had grown fond of Xanadu and I quickly suggested if she loved it so much, she should move here! Usually they try to make me play a game which I then lose and thus they decide not to move here, but Tiffany just straight up turned me down! The nerve! So I guess now I’m just going to get some rando…

With the new month of May kicking off, Mom sent another gift. This time, the letter was all about adventuring and exploring in the nice weather so she gave me another Mom’s knapsack. This one was orange with a little yellow rubber ducky on it. It’s pretty cute and I thought it went with my hippie chic, so I decided I’d wear it around for a bit. Thanks, Mom! You’re the best!
