Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 4/6/24

Dear Diary,

So remember last week when I was complaining about all the eggs everywhere and how annoying Bunny Day was? Well, I ended up completely forgetting to visit the island on Bunny Day! No big loss, really. That Zipper T. Bunny is super creepy…

It’s cherry blossom season… but also allergy season. So once again, Mom sent her cute little letter about cherry blossoms and sneezing, and included another tissue box. This one’s got all the fruits on it. Very cute!

And yes, I decided to dress up for the cherry blossoms. I thought this traveling kimono was nice because the pink matches the blossoms. I didn’t have any appropriately matching kimono sandals, so I just went with gray. And it doesn’t really matter since you can’t actually see the straps anyway!

I checked in on Apple to find her under the weather so I happily gave my dear old friend some medicine so she’d be feeling better right quick. She gave me a striped tee to say thanks, but where Apple’s concerned, I don’t even need a reward. I just like to help.

This week we had a camper, and while Beardo seemed a little snootish at first glance, he’s actually kind of a weirdo. Beardo the Weirdo! I love it! Unfortunately there’s no room on the island at this time. Oh well!

I ran into Robin and she invited me over to check out her house, so I agreed because I’m still trying to get her picture. We hung out for a bit and when I finally left, she gave me her favorite song, “K.K. Cruisin’” But still no picture. Still, this had to help, right?

I got excited again when the lost bag I found turned out to belong to Kitt, but my reward for finding it and bringing it back to her was just a nurse’s jacket. Sigh. I’m beginning to think I’m not as likable as I thought I was...

And in fact, at the end of the week, Robin tried to move away again! I guess she doesn’t understand the deal. You give me your picture, I let you leave. So I mailed her a present to try and explain it to her and I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
