Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 4/13/24
Dear Diary,
This week was relatively quiet so I was able to enjoy myself. And the cherry blossoms. I even changed into a samurai outfit to mix it up a bit but then suddenly the cherry blossoms were gone and everything was all green and boring again. Shame.
Sherb told me that I should have a new nickname, and he suggested “buddy” which I agreed to so as not to hurt his feelings. I mean, come on. It’s not the most original nickname out there, and I swear someone else was calling me buddy before. Not recently, but I feel like that’s definitely done the rounds. Still, it’s Sherb, and I don’t want to upset him so I agreed to let him call me buddy. I mean, we are buddies, so it’s fine!
At first I thought Benedict looked a little intimidating and I assumed he was another jock. But it turns out appearances can be deceiving, and he was totally cool and laid back. Unfortunately, we have no room for a new resident right now, so I hope he enjoyed his day on Xanadu!
Genji asked me to deliver a gift to Robin to say sorry, and I was happy to do it because as you know, I’m still working hard on getting my friendship with Robin strong enough she’ll give me her picture. And while I’m not sure who you’re doing the favor for when you deliver an apology gift, it’s the recipient who gives you the thank you present, so I had my fingers crossed as I headed over to Robin’s place. Unfortunately, all I got was a low screen. Dangit!
Remember how I pretended to like the nickname Sherb came up with so I didn’t hurt his feelings? Well, a couple of days later, he tried to move away anyway! I didn’t take it personally, because I know Sherb wasn’t doing it to hurt me. But I still couldn’t let him go!
Towards the end of the week, I went to say hi to Lopez as I always do and I was a little taken aback to find Sasha hanging out at his place. Sasha had better not have any designs on my Lopez… not if he knows what’s good for him! Maybe the next time Sasha considers moving away, I’ll send the homewrecker on his merry way!
