Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 3/23/24

Dear Diary

This week I found myself showered with gifts… although none of them were the gifts I’ve actually been waiting for. Sigh…

Things kicked off with me checking in on Kitt and finding her under the weather. I happily cemented our friendship further by giving her one of the medicines I always keep on my person, but all I got for thanks was a cook cap with logo.

Then I was slightly tempted to wish Apple well when she told me she was thinking about leaving. But I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. She’s my OG and I can’t imagine Xanadu without her. Sorry, Apple. You’re stuck here as long as I am, I’m afraid.

Later in the week, Kitt invited herself over to my house and once again, I was happy to entertain her in the hopes of getting her picture finally. Unfortunately, during her visit, she gave me a business suitcoat and the next day, she sent me a thank you card with… a book. Sigh.

Isabelle also announced some shooting stars, but unfortunately, the DIY recipe I got off Celeste was just for a hyacinth wand. I would’ve liked another piece of furniture for my astrological room. Oh well, maybe next time!

Gulliver washed ashore again this week, so I helped him out and for my troubles, I got another candy-skull mask. I’ve already got a couple of these, but this one is a different colored design, so I guess it’s technically new. Still not terribly exciting, though, if I’m being honest…

And to wrap things up, I was crossing my fingers when Apollo told me the book I found on the ground belonged to Robin. But did she thank me for my efforts with her picture? No, she did not. I got a raincoat. Sigh. Maybe next time? Guess we’ll just have to wait and see…
