Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 3/23/19

Dear Diary,

This week, something happened that hasn’t happened in ages! And I’m not just talking about Shamrock Day, either! Read on for the details!

Once again for Shamrock Day, Isabelle put on a snazzy green outfit and handed out shamrock hats. Same as every year. I do wish she’d mix it up on the holidays sometimes. I didn’t even bother with the photo op this year. Sad. But I did put on my shamrock hat and wear it around the rest of the day.

But a couple days later, I found new headgear to wear. A balloon was floating overhead, and while I usually ignore them, I decided to shoot it down this time for some reason. And inside was a balloon hat, which felt bright and springy to me and it went with my bunny shirt pretty well. So I figured why not brighten up the place a bit and wear a silly hat?

Of course, someone always has to try and spoil things, and this time it was Deli who tried to dampen my day by telling me he was moving away. Naturally I talked him out of it.

I got some stationery as a gift and decided to put it to use by writing Lopez a love letter, and the next day I saw Phineas wandering around town. I actually thought for a second I was going to get a badge for shooting down balloons, but it turned out I got the second Letter Author badge! And when I checked my badges, I saw there are not only some more badges I can get the next level of, there are even some I haven’t gotten at all. I wonder what those are… And how I haven’t gotten them even after over five years living here. Hrm.

Tiffany ended the week on a sour note by trying to move away herself. I guess she’s taking over for Lopez as the person who tries to move away just about every week. It’s getting exhausting. How many times do I have to tell you not to move before you stop trying? Get a clue, girlfriend!
