Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 2/8/25
Dear Diary,
We kicked off a new month this week but I was only able to solidify one new friendship. The rest was just maintaining the status quo!
Since it’s the start of a new month, Mom sent another one of her projects, this time another of Mom’s embroidery. The new one is the one in the top center with the green and purple trees. It’s nice, but as you can see from my wall of Mom’s embroidery, she’s done better work. No offense, Mom!
Once again, I found myself deeply offended when Lopez told me he was considering leaving Xanadu. Which obviously would mean leaving me, which is unacceptable! Thankfully, he was easy to convince. It’s like he didn’t even want to leave in the first place!
In the middle of the week we had a camper, and Mint is just delightful. Sadly, there’s no room on the island for her right now. Shame, because she’s super cute and would make a nice addition to the community.
I found a notebook that was clearly some kind of workout log and while I hoped that it might be Ace’s, Genji was right nearby and when I asked him about it, the notebook turned out to be his. Sigh. So instead of doing Ace a favor and maybe getting is picture in return, I gave it back to Genji who gave me a zen uniform. Oh well.
I was able to do a favor for island newbie Vesta because late in the week when I checked in on her, she was totally miserably sick. I’m not feeling great myself, but unfortunately, the medicine I always carry around in my pockets doesn’t really work on my own particular head cold. But I was able to help Vesta feel better, and she thanked me with a work apron. It’s okay, Vesta… it’s the thought that counts.
Finally, Sherb told me he got in a fight with Apple and asked me to deliver a present to help save snack time. They are next door neighbors, so her house was right there and she was actually home, so it was a super easy favor to do. And while the cardigan school uniform top didn’t look that great on Apple, she seemed super enthusiastic about it so I wasn’t about to yuck her yum. She offered me a reindeer sweater as a thank you, and while that’s nice and all, I really just wanted to smooth over any problems between two of my oldest friends on the island.
