Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 11/30/24
Dear Diary,
This week was Turkey Day and I made another visit to my nieces’ island. It also snowed, apparently? I mean, in reality there were multiple inches of snow on the ground outside but I didn’t see any on Xanadu!
I found a bag on the ground at the beginning of the week and kind of mentally crossed my fingers that it would belong to one of the newer residents, but alas, it was Genji’s. I mean, he’s one of my oldest pals on the island so I’m happy to do him the favor. He didn’t even need to give me a jockey’s helmet to say thanks. I don’t need a reward from him!
As the week went on, Isabelle got very excited during her announcements and exclaimed that we had snow. Now, November isn’t even over yet so I’m not quite ready for winter. But when I went outside, I didn’t see a single flake. I mean, I know it’s too early for it to actually stick to the ground, but you would still see some flakes falling gently out of the sky. But I saw nothing. Not sure what Isabelle thought she saw, but it wasn’t snow!
In the middle of the week, we had a camper and I was delighted to see Bob. It’s been quite some time since I’ve run into him. Unfortunately, there’s no room on the island for him right now. I much prefer it when the campers aren’t anyone I’d want to invite to move here!
This week brought Turkey Day and once again, Franklin was in the plaza with a bunch of residents needing help to make food for them. Normally I don’t bother, but this year I had plenty of time and I went ahead and found him all the ingredients he needed for his four courses. But just the regular ones. I’m not going out of my way!
I don’t usually bother because I already have all of the harvest furniture Franklin gives as a reward. But I realized my nieces don’t. And I don’t know if they can both do it so they might only get one of each item. So I helped Franklin out and kept hold of the furniture items to pass along when I went to Ogunquitt.
I also kept all the fossils I dug up that day but I discovered I couldn’t donate to their museum. So I just dropped them on the ground in front of the building along with the harvest items. I was told that someone from Xanadu moved to Ogunquitt, and looking at their list of residents I figured it was Coco, but I couldn’t find her to say hi. But I did chat with Puck while I was there. I did have to fly home because Mia was unable to donate the fossils I passed on while they had a visitor. Man, I didn’t know Blathers had so many rules!
