Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 11/2/24
Dear Diary,
The leaves haven’t started falling yet, but it’s definitely fall! Time for cozy sweaters, hot cocoa, and mushrooms! Oh, and Halloween! Well, sort of. I don’t really go in for all that nonsense anymore. But I still dressed up!
Poor Sherb wasn’t feeling very well so I gave him some medicine and he was so grateful he gave me a paperboy cap to say thanks. I’m just glad I could help get this little weirdo back on his feet. The island wouldn’t be the same without him!
I found this cute little bag on the ground and I was hoping that maybe this time it would be Patty’s instead of Apple’s. And lo and behold, it was! I was very happy to strengthen our friendship just a little bit more by doing her this solid. And of course it’s way too soon to even think I might get her picture as a thank you gift, so I happily accepted the square browline glasses…
… which I then gifted to Camofrog because I thought he might look cute in them. And I was totally right!
Then Muffy confessed she was considering moving away again. Not that I’m that enamored of her or anything but she’s been around long enough I feel I should keep her until I get her picture. Then she can go wherever she likes.
We had a camper this week, but I don’t know how well Gigi would fit in on Xanadu. She’s a bit fancy with her makeup, pearls, and opera gloves. Also, if I’m being completely honest, that tuft of hair that comes forward between her eyes kind of freaks me out. Not that I would ever tell her that!
I also ran into Celeste in Brewster’s in the afternoon so I made a point of coming back out of my house later that evening to find her since she wasn’t around the last time we had shooting stars. Although this time I didn’t really see any shooting stars because there were some clouds in the sky. But I did find Celeste wandering around and she gave me a DIY recipe for a wand. It’s actually kind of cool because it’s just your basic plain magic wand. No frills. I like that!
On Halloween, I dressed up as Mario to do my daily rounds. But I didn’t go back out in the evening to participate in any of the Halloween festivities. I have enough candy. And I have all the Halloween decorations, too. I didn’t even bother to say “hi” to Jack… hope he wasn’t too disappointed!
Then to conclude the week, a new month began which meant another letter from Mom. This time it was about baking delicious treats, but instead of sending me some of those, she sent me Mom’s playful kitchen mat. It’s cute, and still kind of goes with the decor of my cute bedroom. Thanks, Mom!
