Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 10/29/22

Dear Diary,

Well, it was another rather quiet week on Xanadu. Mostly because I still can’t seem to catch a giant trevally. And I’m running out of time! Grr. Other than that, it was pretty relaxing, which is good. I don’t need any more stress!

I find it amusing that Genji called Ace tedious because he only ever thinks about muscles. Because Genji is also a fitness-obesssed jock type. Although I have noticed over the years that Genji isn’t quiet as obsessed as Ace and Roald are. He almost seems normal! But I haven’t seen Ace since forever ago when I lived in my very first town, so I wanted him to live here even if he was going to be predictably one-note.

I was actually out and about late at night this week so I ran into Wisp. Which of course, meant that he exploded and I had to go gather up his five pieces of spirit before he could put himself back together. And as always, I never go for something expensive. I would much rather have a furniture item that I don’t already have in my inventory… even if it is a hanging clothing rack.

I was so excited to find a theremin for sale at Nook’s Cranny and after discovering that it kind of works, I couldn’t wait to put it out in my house. Unfortunately, as I was preparing to shoot a video of me playing music on the theremin by running around it, freakin’ Sherb knocks on the door and invites himself in. Sigh. It’s why I hate redecorating or doing much of anything in my house because people are always inviting themselves over! I get no privacy on this island!

As the week came to an end, everyone was gearing up for Halloween on Monday, so the weekend brought out the costumes. I always forget how freakin’ adorable Timmy and Tommy look in their little hats! Of course, as I’ve mentioned before, I don’t want to have anything to do with Halloween because it’s kind of annoying and I already have all of Jack’s furniture anyway. Oh, I’ll still dress up, though! Haven’t decided on a costume yet…
