Dear Diary,

Very short entry this week because things were surprisingly quiet on Xanadu recently. And now I wonder if that’s just the calm before the storm… I probably should have used some of that free time to go do some work for Paradise Planning but I didn’t. Maybe I’ll be more inclined to visit the tropical island once it’s snowing on Xanadu? I guess we’ll see… right now the trees are starting to get a little color but the leaves haven’t started falling quite yet. Soon, though!

The week kicked off with Camofrog deciding to move again. And again I shut that down because I like my cranky neighbors. And besides, compared to the others, he’s basically only just got here! Don’t be in such a hurry to leave! You won’t find anyplace nicer, I can promise you that!

I got all excited when Isabelle said we’d have shooting stars in the evening during her announcements. And I came out again later that night hoping to get a new DIY off of Celeste… but she was nowhere to be found! I seriously did like, three laps of the island, looking everywhere — and I mean everywhere — and… nothing. I even went around the back of the island and walked through the hidden ledges behind but she wasn’t even hiding there. So I made a few wishes, but not many since I’ve already got plenty of star fragments. I needed a new DIY! (Heck, I even went back home and waited a bit and came out again a little later just to see if maybe this time Celeste would be somewhere but again, nothing. Sigh.)

Honestly, the only other thing of note that happened this week was Robin appeared lost in her own thoughts and I feared she might be thinking about moving away before giving me her picture, but she just wanted to use a new nickname she’d heard others using for me. That’s harmless enough. And I kind of like “Vitamin C.” Just don’t ask me to sing that stupid graduation song! Ha ha ha!
