Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 10/24/20
Dear Diary,
I’ve been having a lot of fun trying out different Halloween costumes. This week I went from my mummy look to Zombie Jesus and then assembled a Mage’s outfit in a seasonal color scheme! Basically when I see new pieces in the Able Sisters, I can’t help but change it up again! Oh, yeah, and a bunch of other stuff happened this week, too!
Things started off pretty casually. I admitted to K.K. Slider I was a little sad, and he decided to play a rendition of “K.K. Waltz” for me this evening. I guess it was okay, but it’s not one of my faves.
I’ve been hovering around the 150,000 point mark for a while now so I’m glad I finally put enough stuff in my house to push me over and get the final Gold HHA trophy. I got a score of 151,421 and an S rank. Now I can finally start decorating and not care about making sure I get enough points!
So I was finally able to take my back room and remove all the Imperial theme furniture and decorate for the season without having to worry about keeping my score up. Yay!
This week was Clay’s birthday and I decided to craft a sauna heater for him as a present. Because his home is all full of stone furniture and fossils, it seemed the best option. He actually appeared to really like the gift and the next day I got a jester’s mask as a thank you.
Gotta admit I was more than a little irritated that Lopez was trying to give Shari a special present but I still agreed to deliver it. The gift turned out to be a workout top that honestly didn’t suit Shari, and I told her so. But when she panicked, I had to go ahead and tell her it was fine. I got an athletic jacket for my troubles. I just hope Lopez doesn’t cheat on me with Shari.
I had a visit from Redd, and bought this sinking painting because everything else he had on offer I already had, so they couldn’t have been genuine. And this painting is always supposed to be the real thing. “Ophelia” by John Everett Millais is actually quite a lovely piece of art.
Towards the end of the week I was a little surprised when Rizzo told me he was thinking of moving away, but instead of holding him hostage I wished him well. (Honestly, I haven’t spoken to Keaton in weeks, but he’s still lingering…) I always kind of enjoyed Rizzo because he was a cranky old mouse, but I feel like he wasn’t cranky enough. Not like Octavian-levels of crank. I’m trying to be better and not get too attached to people so I can let them go on their way and meet new friends. I mean, except Lopez. He’s not going anywhere!
I dove for Gullivarrr’s phone again so he rewarded me with this pirate outfit. It’s super cute but I’d only just swapped to my mage’s outfit. Next week I’ll totally switch over to a pirate costume. But without the blue skin!
I still had blue skin when I changed into a police uniform to help Label see a work outfit. But she still thought it was perfect, and gave me a pair of Labelle sneakers and promised to mail me some tailor tickets. I guess the blue skin kind of works with the blue uniform!
