Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary 10/11/25
Dear Diary,
Once again, I’m playing lost and found with these neighbors who just can’t seem to keep track of their stuff. And Celeste had a little surprise for me, even if it wasn’t quite what I wanted…
Camofrog looked upset, and it turned out he got into a fight with Lopez. He didn’t go into details, but I can see these two not quite seeing eye to eye. Anyway, he gave me a package and asked me to deliver it.
Lopez unwrapped it and it was a baseball uniform which I knew was not going to suit him at all, but I said go ahead and try it on. Then, I totally lied and said it looked good. Sigh. (At least he doesn’t seem to actually like it himself because I haven’t seen him wearing it since.) To thank me for smoothing things over between him and Camofrog, Lopez gifted me a raincoat. But I really just wanted to do another favor for Camofrog so we can become best friends one day.
I found a bag that looked pretty simple and a bit boring so I felt like it probably belonged to Celia. (She’s sweet, but a bit on the dull side, honestly) She gave me a grape hat to say thanks, but really I just wanted to do the favor. That’s just the kind of guy I am.
Broffina was lost in thought and when I interrupted, it turned out she was thinking about moving away from Xanadu. Look, if it was Celia, I’d probably wish her bon voyage, but Broffina actually has a personality, and she hasn’t even been here that long. So I asked her to stick around for a while longer and we’ll see what happens.
Then I found another lost item, and the fact that it was a picture book with candy stuck to it made it more than obvious that it belonged to Sherb. Sure enough, I was right. Sure, I would have preferred to find an item lost by a newer resident I’m not already best friends with, but whatever. And I didn’t need the suit with stand-up collar, either. But thanks, Sherb! You’re a peach!
And finally, at the end of the week, I was walking around a bit later than usual and happened to run into Celeste. Interestingly, she was down by the beach, and not up in the highest point of the island as she usually is. I hadn’t seen any shooting stars at all, but she was still hanging out. Unfortunately, I didn’t get one of the recipes I know exist that I don’t already have from her. But at least this time, instead of a handful of star fragments, I got a Libra fragment. So that’s at least slightly more valuable/helpful. I’d still prefer a new recipe, though!
