Dear Diary, It was another fun week on the island of Xanadu. Well, except for the part where I had to shell out a whole lot of bells because of my hoarding… That wasn’t that much fun, if I’m being honest!

Didn’t go to the movies because it was time for Eurovision! After my thoughts on this year’s contest, I talk about how everyone’s playing Zelda while I wrapped up the Burning Shores DLC for Horizon Forbidden West. And once that was concluded, I moved on to something else… but did I stick to the plan or buy something new?

Dear Diary, This week on Xanadu was both quiet and eventful at the same time! There were no big holidays or events but I was a good friend and discovered some new stuff!

In this episode, I talk about how enjoyable Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was, but also how deeply upsetting it was. If you are at all sensitive to animal cruelty, bring tissues. I also gave Cadence of Hyrule a try during the free game trial, but didn’t last very long. So then it was back to Horizon Forbidden West where I’m still trying to stretch out the Burning Shores DLC as much as possible!

Dear Diary, I didn’t learn anything new this week, but I still got some new stuff and one of those items is something I’ve been after for quite some time!

I went to the movies but didn’t really see a movie because it was the recording of the Spirited Away live production. I’ve also been exploring the Burning Shores with Aloy, making new friends and enemies. And I’m so tempted to pick up Jedi Survivor next, though not for the reason you might think!

Dear Diary, Thankfully, another peaceful week on Xanadu where there wasn’t anything serious to worry about. I do love it here. I can finally relax!

This week the husband and I went to see Evil Dead Rise, and I finished Fallout 4 just in time for the release of the Burning Shores DLC. Although re-learning the controls and combat in Horizon Forbidden West has proved… challenging.
