Once again, no new movies to go to the theater to see this week so I just jump right in with my progress in Sea of Stars… which was briefly stalled by a worryingly difficult boss battle. Then I talk about the recent Nintendo Direct and Sony’s State of Play from the other week that I didn’t have time for last episode. And I finish up with my newest plan for Spider-Man 2!

I went to the movies to see A Haunting in Venice and I also watched Theater Camp which I missed in theaters, but which is already on Hulu. I’ve also spent the last week playing Sea of Stars non-stop so I have plenty to say about this terrific throwback RPG!

Dear Diary, It was a mostly quiet week on Xanadu, but there was also a major exit. And I was hoping for a major new addition, but I was stymied once again! Dangit!

Well, The Nun II turned out to be surprisingly better than the first one, and I also wrapped up Sable (with 100% of the Trophies!) so I have some final thoughts on that. Then I have to rant about my unbelievably frustrating attempt to play the new No Man’s Sky Echoes DLC that resulted in a week’s worth of gaming that got me absolutely nowhere. So since No Man’s Sky was stressing me out, I had to put it aside to play something else entirely…

Dear Diary, This week I prevented a disaster, got some new stuff, and built something that wasn’t what I thought it would be. It’s complicated!

No movie again this week, so I kick off with a little complaining about Animal Crossing (I know right?!) then discuss trying to finish Sable and actually getting 100% of the Trophies. I wrap up with the Sony PlayStation+ price increase and then my jealousy of everyone playing Starfield.

Dear Diary, Well, it was a great week on Xanadu! I got two things I’ve been waiting for forever, met someone new, and kept a friendship from falling apart. Oh, and in case you were curious, yes, replacing my glowing moss jar with the lucky cat from Gulliver did actually…

No movies this week because I didn’t want to see Gran Turismo and the movie I wanted to see is barely in theaters anymore. Boo. I’m still playing and enjoying Sable, though I’ve encountered some of the bugs reviews complained about. And while I’m intrigued by the new No Man’s Sky update, Echoes, I’m not remotely interested in the PlayStation Portal.
